During our corporate retreat, we found that the Holiday Inn Express had a mixed bag of experiences. What stood out were the business amenities, ideal for remote work. The 24-hour business center was a lifesaver, allowing me to print a few last-minute documents. The complimentary newspapers in the lobby were a nice touch for catching up on current events while sipping coffee. A few hiccups marred the stay. The first room I was assigned had an unpleasant smell, prompting a change – not ideal when you're trying to settle in for work. the carpet throughout the hotel left much to be desired; it felt outdated and worn. Our meeting room was decent, measuring 648 square feet, accommodating our group comfortably. I appreciated the free Wi-Fi, though the hotel’s overall maintenance did raise some concerns, as the pool area was unexpectedly closed during my visit. Breakfast provided a consistent but repetitive start to our days. Although the staff was helpful, particularly when I needed assistance with a room situation, I can't overlook the issues I encountered. While I can see the potential for work-focused trips, I can't wholeheartedly recommend this hotel based on our experience.
